Some of the Roots & Shoots kids and Survival Outreach Sanctuary were at a store front on Ridge Road from 10-2:30pm. The purpose was to encourage recycling in Pasco County. The kids were able to talk to hundreds of people and passed out 90 sample blue bags. Many of the people the kids talked to were already recycling what they could. A large number said they would definately give it a try.
